i am having a love affair with high-low hemmed skirts. i think they are the best of both worlds, seeing as how they are part maxi (also obsessed with all things maxi) and part miniskirt. i'm not a huge fan of the miniskirt, but when you add a hem that dips so low in the back it automatically becomes much more wearable. before now i would tend to dress this skirt up a bit with a nice top or a colorful blazer...but ever since my car's thermometer started reading in the 90's, the mere thought of a blazer makes me start perspiring. instead i chose a simple cotton v-neck and added a punch of color with some neon pink sandals for a casual dinner and drinks with some friends.
