friday afternoon.

It feels like we have skipped right over spring and moved on to summer. Except for the fact that it is a mere 80 degrees and not a sizzling 200 degrees. Today was a splendidly sunny summer day that called for a manicure on the porch followed by some invigorating laying out. While the water is still too chilly to fully submerge myself, I managed to dip my toes in once or twice.
It's been a great start to the weekend which shall include downtown adventures and celebrating my dad's birthday (happy birthday, dad!!!!). Have you gotten to lay out by the pool yet this year?

dipping the toesies in the cold pool. said pool has a black bottom and the more i look at this photo, the more it seems like i am photographing my feet and the night sky. that is my wonderful photography, for ya!

it was a little too warm for dexter, so he enjoyed the day in the shade.
